There’s no kit, but follow the link in the post to see a complete bill of materials available at Adafruit. The only thing they don’t carry is the silver beads, as mentioned in the video.
Can you use the two ply thin thread or only the medium 3 ply? And why do you need 3 volts? Do you have to only do 3 sequins, or can you do more? I’m an embroiderer, not an electricity person.

Renee, please research LEDs, there are many informative sources out there, such as this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3PDLsJQcGI. You can use any conductive thread you like for this project, and power many LEDs in parallel, not just three. The more LEDs, the sooner your battery will run out.
