Battery Powering Your Wearable Electronics
So, you want to build something wearable but you’re not sure how to power it? You’re in luck– this guide will help you pick the right battery for your wearable electronics project.

Light-Activated Pixel Heart
Wear your heart on your sleeve! Or at least on your lapel. This light-up heart display uses a light-dependent resistor and GEMMA, Adafruit’s tiny wearable electronics platform.

Supplies
- Gemma microcontroller
- Sewable pixels x8
- Conductive thread
- Light-dependant resistor (aka LDR/photoresistor)
- Small lipoly battery
- Woven fabric
- Clear nail polish
- Multimeter
- Scissors
- Sewing needle
- Embroidery hoop
- Alligator clips
- Pencil or embroidery marking pen
