6 Easy Electronics Projects
It’s time for another roundup… This time, I’m sharing 6 electronics projects from my catalog that are great for beginners. If you’ve been here a while, you may recognize some of them. If you’re new, consider this a gentle intro to my inventory of electronics projects!
1. Basic LED Circuit
Let’s start with the Basic LED Circuit, where I’ll guide you through the fundamental steps of building your initial light-up circuit. This can be used for various projects, including creating a Halloween decoration or a decorative floral centerpiece.

You can read my full blog post on this project here.
2. Constellation Embroidery
Next up is Constellation Embroidery. This project combines the power of electricity with hand-stitching techniques to illuminate the star pattern on fabric, and I’ve made a pattern for each star sign.

Check out the full blog post about my constellation embroidery.
3. Baguette Wobbler Robot
Let’s move on to the Baguette Wobbler Robot, which I posted on my blog back in 2018. This project uses a few modified servo motors, a battery pack, and a shellacked loaf of bread. Self-driving carbs, amiright?
4. LED Cylon Scooter
Dialing up the camp, here’s my LED Cylon Scooter. This one is really cool – it uses LED strip to animate a Larson scanner effect in the grille, making my 80s scooter look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.

5. Webcam Privacy Friend
The fifth project I want to share with you is my Webcam Privacy Friend. With this nifty device, you can easily control when your webcam can see you, and it automatically closes after the timer has elapsed. It’s a great way to ensure you’re always in control of when your webcam is active, as well as a not-so-subtle way to let folks know a meeting has gone on for too long.

6. Cat Food Bowl Access Control
Finally, let’s check out the Cat Food Bowl Access Control project. This 3D-printed device lets you set up a feeding schedule for your cat so she can take her meds on a full stomach – no more forgetting to pick up the bowl and spoiling breakfast.

There you have it – 6 easy DIY electronics projects. I hope you’re inspired to create some amazing projects with electronics.
